For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by stories.
My love of stories propelled me into a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Brigham Young University-Idaho, with an emphasis on journalism and video production.
Up to now, I've spent my days in television and radio news stations using my skills to tell stories about politics and community issues. While these adventures were thrilling and fulfilling, I found myself wanting to spend more time with the ordinary people around me and focus on telling their unique life experiences.
In 2019, I decided to leave the news industry in pursuit of this dream and created Root Story Studios. Using video, audio, photography and other skills I've cultivated while working as a journalist, I create personal documentary films to help people preserve their legacies.
When I'm not working on a project, I'm usually listening to podcasts, listening to an album on vinyl, reading or out capturing the world around me with my camera.
I look forward to helping you with your legacy, trust me - your story is worth telling.
